    Stir your precious metals, scrap metals while melting; graphite is also used to remove any impurities on the surface of the molten metal.
    The carbon rod is used when melting Gold & Silver metals with Torch, in Gas or Electric Melting Furnaces. Rod is used for stirring the molten metal in order to get a good homogenous mix of the alloys in Gold, Silver, Brass and any other non ferrous metals.
    Note: DO NOT Use with Platinum. Not to be used with Platinum!
    Carbon stirring rods are made of high density fine grain graphite, high temperature.
